This comes as a boon for Super bowl lovers as many can enjoy the game on the move over their IPAD , IPHONE , Android and any smart phones .

Apart from the the game being broadcasted on the NBC television as scheduled, it will also stream live on the NFL's official website, as well as on NBCSports.com. But the catch is that the service will be restricted to viewers in the United States. It will work in the same way as an existing arrangement by which NBC shows regular-season games online.

Super Bowl XLVI ( Super bowl 2012 ) will be the 46th annual edition of the Super Bowl in American football, and the 42nd annual championship game for the National Football League (NFL). Super bowl 2012 will happen on the Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Super bowl 2012 will be the first Super Bowl to be played in Indianapolis, and the first time in the history to be played in a in a retractable roof stadium and will the fourth time that the Super Bowl is played in a cold-weather city, after Detroit, Michigan's hosting of Super Bowl XVI and Super Bowl XL as well as Minneapolis's hosting of Super Bowl XXVI.

An outdoor Super bowl village will be featured at the Indiana Convention Center -Downtown Indianapolis, the home of Lucas Oil Stadium .

In the United States, the game will be televised nationally by NBC.It will also be streamed online, both to computers (via NBC's Web site) and mobile devices (via Verizon Wireless's NFL Mobile app). Super bowl 2012 will be the first legal online streaming of a Super Bowl.
